LEADTOOLS ePrint 6 Professional > ePrint Quick Start: How To... > How To: Prepare Graphics Settings |
When converting between file types, the final file size depends on both paper size and resolution. In general, images that will only be displayed on-screen require lower resolution than images intended for use in print. Lower resolution images result in a smaller file size and therefore require less storage space. Perform the following steps to set the resolution for an ePrint printer.
1. |
From the Windows toolbar, select Start ➔ Settings ➔ Printers and Faxes, then right-click the LEADTOOLS ePrint 6 icon and select Printing Preferences. |
2. |
A menu will appear that lists all of the ePrint printers installed on the computer. Select the printer you want to use. |
3. |
Click the Graphics tab on that printer's ePrint Printing Preferences dialog. |
4. |
Select the desired resolution from the Resolution Options combo box. If you select "Custom", the Custom Resolution group appears to let you type in specific X and Y DPI resolutions. Valid values range from 50 - 1600 for both the X and the Y resolutions. |
5. |
Click OK to save your settings and close the dialog. |
