Select Annotation Tools Sub Menu

Use the Annotation Tools Sub menu to selects the annotation objects to draw. The Annotation Tools Sub menu is shown in the following figure:

The following table lists the commands on the Select Annotation Tools sub menu (Tools -> Annotation -> Select Annotation Tools) and gives a brief description of each command:

Command	Description
Select Tool	Selects the Selection tool for selecting annotations.
Freehand Tool	Selects the Freehand tool for freehand drawing.
Freehand Highlight Tool	Selects the Freehand Highlight tool for freehand transparency highlighting of the document.
Highlight Tool	Selects the Highlight tool for highlighting the document by drawing a transparent rectangular block.
Line Tool	Selects the Line tool.
Rectangle Tool	Selects the Rectangle tool.
Ellipse Tool	Selects the Ellipse tool.
Pointer Tool	Selects the Pointer tool.
Polyline Tool	Selects the Polyline tool.
Polygon Tool	Selects the Polygon tool.
Curve Tool	Selects the Curve tool.
Closed Curved Tool	Selects the Closed Curved tool.
Note Tool	Selects the Note tool.
Text Tool	Selects the Text tool.
Rich Text Tool	Selects the Rich Text tool.
Text Pointer Tool	Selects the Text Pointer tool.
Ruler Tool	Selects the Ruler tool.
Poly Ruler Tool	Selects the Poly Ruler tool.

Protractor Tool	Selects the Protractor tool.
